Here are some tips which will make everything easier, better, and more enjoyable.

Before you begin, think about your needs, as well as what you are dreaming of, what will do you good and give you pleasure.
Gather tips for designing your home:
As part of the preparation for the project, do research work online. Look for photos of spaces you like, and try to figure out why you like them. Talk to friends who have already done it and get advice and tips from them. Look for home design tips that will allow you to really enjoy the renewal process.

Choosing an architect:
Choose a good architect! She must be attentive, experienced, creative, and patient. An architect who is also an interior designer is your best chance for a successful project.
Investigate the environment:
Think about all the external elements that affect the design of the house: wind directions, sun directions, external noises, and a beautiful or ugly view from the windows.
If you are lucky enough to have a garden or terrace:
If your home also has outdoor space, don’t underestimate it. Treat the exterior and interior as a single unit, and pay close attention to the transition between the two areas.
Fashion and trends:
Don’t get swept up in passing fashions, which are here today and gone tomorrow, leaving you with a hole in your pocket and the question “What were we thinking?” Your home décor should be right for many years to come.
Personal design:
Make your home personal. Present objects you love, use furniture that is not only beautiful, but also meaningful to you.
Colors:
Don’t be afraid of colors. They add life, personality, and joy to any space. If you use them wisely, they won’t bore you. And if they do – replace them!

Tips for designing the entrance:
Start the experience of entering the house from the outside. Create a simple, special and inviting entrance in the public area outside the house.
Inside, it is recommended to create a defined but not crowded entrance area, which will give a hint of what is happening inside.
Space Size :
Avoid long hallways, spaces that are too large (living room or kitchen) or too small. Try to give each space, even the smallest and secondary, its own character.
Storage:
Take care to plan plenty of storage space in each room of the house, and if possible – also a laundry/housework/storage room.

Remember that our needs as people and as a family change very rapidly over the years. Plan your renovation so that it also includes possibilities for the next stages in life.
